UAAP volley top seed Lady Eagles not taking FEU lightly
MANILA – Even with the top seed and a twice- to- beat advantage, the Ateneo Lady Eagles are not taking No. 4 ranked Far Eastern University Lady Tamaraws for granted in their upcoming UAAP Season 78 women’s volleyball encounter.
Lady Eagles assistant coach Sherwin Meneses said, even if they finished on top of the standings at the end of the double- round eliminations, there are still some things
ian needed to be ironed out when it comes to their plays.
The Lady Eagles, which only lost twice in the eliminations, both to the National University Lady Bulldogs for a 12-2 slate, will have a twice- to- beat incentive against the Lady Tamaraws on April 23 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
The Lady Eagles, which is also eager to regain the championship they lost to the De La Salle Lady Spikers last
t year, have won over the Lady Tamaraws in their two prelim round encounters – both of which reached five sets. “amin, back to zero
semifinals, Para sa yung kahit lahat Finals. manalo,” kami gustong makarating sa said Meneses. “Lahat gustong
Kaya hindi FEU.” basta pwedeng maliitin ang “Three, four, five sets

The other Final Four pairing is between the Lady Spikers and the University of Santo Tomas Golden Tigresses. The defending champion Lady Spikers hold a twice- to- beat edge over No. 3 seed Tigresses in their own semis series set to start on April 22./
