Iloilo Business Park holds University Fest

IT HAS been a month since the new school year started and as students settle down and gets used with their new schedules and subjects, Iloilo Business Park will hold a welcome celebration filled with fun games and live performances.

The event tagged as “University Fest” kicked off on July 15 with live band performances at the Festive Walk Parade starting at 7p. m. Leading the list of performers is the indie folk- rock band The Ransom Collective. The six- piece band is expected to perform their well- received hit songs such as “Fools” and “Open Road.”

St u d e n t s wi l l al s o ge t t o participate and showcase their grit, determination, and teamwork in the Laser Tag Tournament scheduled on July 22 to 23 starting at 4 p. m.. Also part of the event is a month- l ong bazaar and the Table Matters Garden Fair.

University Fest aims to gather students from top universities in Iloilo and welcome them for the opening of the school year. It also aims to remind and encourage students to study hard and at the same time, celebrate and enjoy their student life.

Festive Walk Parade is 1.1-kilometer re t a i l a nd di ni ng promenade i n the 72- hectare Iloilo Business Parktownship in Mandurriao, Iloilo City. Once completed, it will be the longest dining and retail strip in the entire Visayas and Mindanao.
