Fetus found dead in Bacolod river

BACOLOD City – A fetus was found dead in a river in Purok Puentevella, Barangay Alijis, a police report showed.

The fetus – which was discovered on Friday – was a boy, according to the police.

It was Rolando Toribilla who found the fetus and reported it to Police Station 7.

Toribilla first thought the fetus was a doll that was stuck on a stone at the river, he told the police.

The fetus was buried at a public cemetery in the city.

Police have yet to identify who its mother is./
