THE NEW ONES AND THE ‘COMEBACKER’ GUNNING FOR ILOILO CITY COUNCIL SEATS

-

THERE are political newcomers blazing the trail leading to the Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) of Iloilo City. To name a few: Gilbert Garcia, a former barangay captain of Baluarte who has returned after long years of hard work in Canada; Allan Zaldivar, who used to be Public Employment Service Office (PESO) chief in Iloilo City; and Rommel Duron, former hearing officer of the Land Transportation Office (LTO).

Rommel strikes us as the most dynamic of them all. Although a complete neophyte in politics, he has already visited 130 of 180 barangays. A day is not complete without him paying house-to-house visit.

And here comes broadcaster Rodel Fullon Agado who has resigned from RMN to try his luck in Iloilo City politics anew. Rodel is well-remembered for exposing the  tuklo” responsible for alleged mulcting acts at Iloilo City Hall. Unfortunately, term Rodel without naming the  . Will
