Information and communication technology: essential in education

WITH EDUCATION playing a vital role in our lives by giving us knowledge, developing our minds and shaping our personalities, it is safe to assume that education in all of its aspects have been doing its best to provide us the best learning it could give.
And as the world revolves, time passes by and changes are necessary to meet new demands. That is why it is very essential to improve and enhance our educational system – so that students can have a good and effective learning environment.
I n Technology and Livelihood Education ( TLE), Information and Communication Technology i s essential.
ICT is widespread and essential and plays a meaningful role in changing and modernizing educational systems as well as the way of learning. It is part of many aspects of our daily lives.
For example, it can be seen in
many communication tools l i ke radio, television, cellular phones, computer and network hardware and software, satellites and so on, as well as the various services and applications associated with them such as videoconferencing and distance learning.
I CT really has a big effect i n education today. It is rapidly becoming one of the most important and widely discussed issues in contemporary education policy.
At every level of education, educational technology is a vehicle for curriculum enhancement. It has the potential for enhancing student learning.
Today, we often refer ICT as the first rate i n education systems, but the origin of this is based on scientific findings, particularly training sciences, developmental psychology, knowledge, and education capability.
