2020 LIMITS us from everything we could do. Because of the infectious disease, corona virus, our normal life has changed not unless a cure will be invented.

Because of this, a community quarantine is declared all over the Philippines to avoid exposure to this deadly virus. But sad to say, as tragic as it is, our life has been truly impacted with this.

As social distancing has been implemented, our psychosocial behavior is affected in a way that learning could be a little difficult. As defined, psychosocial refers to the influences of social factors on an individual’s mental health and behavior.

This simply means that learners must be prepared enough to understand that it is beneficial for everyone to avoid having physical or social interaction with other people. Well, staying at home could be quiet stressful but it is the safest way to be out of danger as of the moment.

Young people would find it difficult to limit themselves to have social interaction with their peers which could lead to anxiety, hysteria, and even depression due to the feeling of being cornered or loss of control.

However, learners must truly understand that this is necessary and we must fight it. Personally, I would recommend meditation as a way to fight stress. Many think that this might not useful but meditation is a great way to relive stress and is very helpful in helping one’s mind to be healthier enough to make wise decisions.

For the young people, please be patient with our situations right now. It might be difficult but we will eventually get through this. (
