THE World day celebrates water and raises awareness of the Global water crisis, and a core focus on the observance is to support the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6: water and sanitation for all by 2030.
The theme of World Water Day 2021 is “Valuing Water”. The value of water is about more than its price-water has enormous and complex value for our households, foods culture, health, education, economics and the integrity of our natural environment. If we overlook any of these values, we risk mismanaging this finite, irreplaceable resource.SDG 6 is to ensure water and sanitation for all. Without a comprehensive understanding of water’s true, multidimensional value, we will be unable to safeguard this critical resource for the benefit of everyone.
By valuing water, we jeopardized public, ecological integrity and economic development. In valuing water, we need to understand the multiple benefits it brings and the way in which various stakeholders’ impact and depend. Cleanliness and proper sanitation is a must to be implemented not only in the cities but also in the Provinces. However, this calls for skills that need a greater participation from the people themselves i n order to promote wholesome environment. To support this endeavor, the Libacaco National Forestry Vocational High School Teaching Staff joins and support the Municipality of Libacao and the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) in celebration of World Water Day last March 22, 2021.
In as much as the Teaching staff Libacao National Forestry Vocational High School was very cooperative and active with the support and cooperation of the AT/MENRO/MSW of Libacao and Office of the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), the following activities were undertaken.
