T HERE i s n o t h i n g more disheartening than knowing the fact that this pandemic is far from over. We are all suffering due to the fact that the threat of Covid-19 is still around and no cure has been discovered yet.

In line with this, the Philippine educational system were forced to conduct schooling at the safety of our own homes so that we are all risk-free from coronavirus. However, as per distance learning, there are many factors that are affecting pupil’s learning situation especially in using modular distance learning.

1. ENVIRONMENT.

Learning at home can be somehow distracting. Parents need to provide their children with a conducive learning environment so that they can concentrate in their studies. This also helps in avoiding procrastination. 2. TECHNOLOGICAL DEVICES Today’s generation is all about technology and staff. One factor that affects pupils’ learning is the use of too much gadgets and browsing the internet. Most of their time which could have spend in their studies will be wasted. 3. RESOURCES. Even if printed modules do not require the use of internet, it is still a good idea to have internet since it is a good source of information. Internet really plays a vital role in keeping a person updated to all of the happenings around them. 4. GUIDANCE AND SUPPORT. Studying at home can be a little stressful for learners especially for elementary kids. Proper guidance and never ending support must be present at all times. I n this way, learners will be motivated to continue pursuing their dreams even i f the world i s against us. (Contributed article)
