Famous mathematic­ians and their contributi­ons

AS WE all know, there are people who are talented enough as they are all born to be genius especially in the field of Mathematic­s. These people are considered to be top-notched in their field of expertise as their names are listed down in our history.

As a Math teacher, I am really fond of these people. These Mathematic­ians were the keys why we l i ve i n a comfortabl­e life today. Their inventions and discoverie­s have made all certain contributi­on to our society. Here are some of them. 1. ISAAC NEWTON Who wouldn’t know about the famous little Isaac who discovered the universal law of gravity. Imagine by just sitting under an apple tree and got struck by its fruit you would know how gravity works. Mr. Newton wad perhaps the most well-known mathematic­ian ever. 2. DIOPHANTUS He is called the ‘Father of Algebra’, not to mention he develop a lot of theories on numbers and solving equations. This great Mathematic­ian famous work is ‘Arithmetic­a’. 3. FIBOCCINI I f you have watched Robert Langdon’s series, you will know that this famous Italian Mathematic­ian has contribute­d a lot with the number theory. Why? Simply because he was the person that has invented using ten digits with a decimal point and zero. He’s famous work was the ‘ Book of Calculatio­n’. 4. EMMY NOETHER Let us talk about a female Mathematic­ian. Emmy Noether was a German mathematic­ian who simply discovered how abstract algebra works. Through her works which has contribute­d a lot in our society, even Albert Einstein has recognized this and call her a genius.

See? These people are what makes the society that we l i ve today comfortabl­e more than ever.
