Antique got 945,560 COVID-19 vaccine doses from DOH since 2021

ANTIQUE – This province has so far received from the Department of Health (DOH) 945,560 doses of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccines since vaccination started in early 2021.

Here’s the brand breakdown of the doses: * Sinovac – 302,910 * AstraZeneca – 81,880 * Pfizer – 308,690 * Gamaleya – 4,800 * Janssen – 112,000 (single dose) * Moderna – 135,280 A “situation report” from DOH Region 6 stated that 65.67 percent (or 620,932) of the 945,560 doses had been utilized. It was silent, however, as to the 324,628 doses.

Malacañang announced recently that Antique would remain under COVID-19 Alert Level 2 until May 15 except for the towns of Anini-y, Sebaste and San Jose which were placed under Alert Level 1 due to their low COVID-19 cases and high vaccination rate.

As of April 28, 62.19 percent of Antique’s target population of 432,452 were vaccinated./
