Villar tops latest RP-Mission and Development Foundation Inc. survey
UNITEAM senatori a l c andida t e and f ormer Department of Public Works and Highways ( DPWH) secretary Mark Villar remains amongst the top choices for senator in the latest survey results from the RP-Mission and Development Foundation ( RPMD) for the upcoming May 2022 election, with a 74.6% voter preference. The RPMD survey conducted from April 28 to May 2 showed Villar as the top choice of the 10,000 respondents using face-to-face interviews nationwide. It has a (+/-) 1% sampling error margin for national percentages. The next 11 behind Villar (74.6%) were Senate hopefuls Antique representative Loren Legarda (68.1%), broadcaster Raffy Tulfo (64.7%), Sen. Win Gatchalian (60.2%), Sen. Juan Miguel “Migz” Zubiri (53.6%), and Sorsogon governor Francis “Chiz” Escudero ( 51.8%). Ranking 7th to 12th place were former House Speaker Alan Cayetano ( 47.3%), Filipino film actor Robin Padilla ( 45.1%), former senator JV Estrada Ejercito ( 38.6%), former senator Jinggoy Estrada ( 36.5%), former vice president Jejomar “Jojo” Binay (34.2%), and Sen. Gringo Honasan (32.7%).
