‘USWAG’ MEANS PROGRESS

USWAG ILONGGO, Western Visayas’ first ever regional party-list that represents multi-sectoral groups, can bring more positive changes to Region 6.

This is because its five- point agenda on education, health, family, infrastructure and tourism, and agriculture is forward-looking while at the same time addressing the present needs of the Ilonggos.

Uswag Ilonggo’s mission is to “provide stronger means for the welfare of the Ilonggos and capability for development, plus inclusive progress.”

They keyword here is “inclusive”, kun sa Hiligaynon pa, “sakop tanan.” Wala sang mawigit. Nobody will be left behind as Region 6 progresses.

Uswag Ilonggo will work for the good of all the Ilonggos, according to the party-list’s nominees, popular businessman and philanthropist Jojo Ang and civic leader Inday Raisa Treñas.

Uswag Ilonggo promises to live up to its name. “Uswag” means progress.

A vote for Uswag Ilonggo this May 9 is a vote for the development and progress of Western Visayas.
