Drug suspect nabbed in Kalibo drug bust

KALIBO, Aklan – A Sangguniang Kabataan member was arrested in a buy-bust operation.

Renz Lloyd Milloroso Rasgo, 24, was a resident of Barangay Dongon West,

Numancia, Aklan.

The May 1 buy-bust was conducted by the Aklan police office’s Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit ( PDEU), Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and Kalibo municipal police station along the provincial hi ghway of Barangay Mabilo at around 6 p.m.

But Rasgo, also a freelance photographer, denied he sold a sachet of shabu to an undercover cop.

“Matagal n a a k o n g hindi gumagamit ng weeds o marijuana bago pa ang Tokhang,” he stressed.

The suspect said he is

willing to undergo a drug test.

Cops claimed to have seized a heat- sealed t ransparent sachet of suspected shabu.

Colonel Frenzy Andrade said the suspect was monitored for more than tw o years.

“Siya ang source ng ilegal na druga at nagtuturo ng mga online transactions ng mga nadakip natin s a Tambak, New Washington at Andagao, Kalibo,” said Andr ade.

Andrade added: “Halos mga estudyante ang kliyente n i y a , m a y m a g u l a n g n a humingi sa atin ng tulong.”

He described the suspect as “isa siyang high-value personality.”
