STRANGE SENATE COMPOSITION

BY JUNE 30, the Philippine Senate will be star-studded. There’s Sen. Bong Revilla, an actor by profession. Then there’s Sen. Lito Lapid, also an actor. Soon joining them is Robin Padilla, also an actor.

All these gentlemen are popular “action stars”. The Filipino people thus expect some exciting “action” from them – a different kind of action, this time as legislators.

Aside from this, Filipinos will also be seeing a mother-son tandem in the Senate – Cynthia and Mark Villar. Then there will also be a sister-brother tandem – Pia and Alan Peter Cayetano. Then may brother-brother tandem pa gid – JV Eejrcito and Jinggoy Estrada. What’s happening to our Senate? Daw family affair na ‘ni ya haw? Haslo!
