Pa, son reelected mayor, vice mayor in Aklan

LIBACAO, Aklan – The father- and- son tandem proved too strong for their political rivals here.

They both sought reelection and won under Partido Demokratiko Pilipino - Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban).

Charito I nventado Navarosa, 73, is entering his last term as local chief executive with 12,565 votes in 37 clustered precincts against the 2,490 votes of Napoleon Navarosa of Kilusang Bagong Lipunan (KBL) – for a winning margin of 10,075 votes.

On the other hand, Vincent Icamina Navarosa, incumbent vice mayor, won by a landslide with 11,479 votes. His lone opponent, Aniano Veric Zaspa of Partido Para sa Demokratikong Reporma, had 2,779 votes.
