Bacolod police hauls P1-M suspected shabu

BACOLOD City – The City Drug Enforcemen­t Unit of the Bacolod City Police Office confiscate­d about P1.2-million worth of suspected shabu from two suspects.

The suspects, Pearl JeAnn Elera, 36, and Riegel

Troy Quimba, 20, were both residents of Batangay Punta Taytay, this city.

The arrest was conducted at around 1 a.m. on May 13.

Police said the two suspects were “high value.”

The recovered suspected shabu weighed about 174 grams.

T h e s u s p e c t s f a c e charges for violation of the Comprehens­ive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

They were taken to Police Station 9 after their arrest./
