87 Aklan schools undergo validation for F2F classes
KALIBO, Aklan – Public and pr i vate schools i n Aklan will undergo onsite validation on May 18 to 19 for the progressive expansion of limited face-to-face classes.
Eighty-seven schools in 12 towns are preparing to comply with the requirements set by the Department of Health and the Department of Education for the resumption of inperson classes.
These also include five private schools, namely, Infant Jesus Academy (Kalibo 1), Buruanga Academy ( Buruanga), Western Aklan Academy ( Nabas), Ibajay Academy, Inc. (Ibajay West), and St. Joseph’s Academy of Malinao, Aklan (Malinao).
Ibajay West and Ibajay East have the most number of schools for validation by the regional composite teams with 30 schools, followed by Nabas with 15 schools and Malay with 13 schools.
I n B o r a c a y I s l a n d , Yapak Elementary School, Balabag Elementary School, Manocmanoc Elementary School and Manocmanoc
National High School are also scheduled for regional validation this week.
