Market weighing scales calibrated

BACOLOD City – All weighing scales in three public markets here have been calibrated, according to the city government.

There have been reports of market shoppers being shortchanged by unscrupulous vendors using wronglycalibrated market weighing scales.

Executive Assistant Ernesto Pineda said the city government regularly monitors the weighing scales in Burgos, Central and Libertad markets./
