University of San Agustin hosts internatio­nal seminar on ‘Global History and Constructi­on of Global Citizenshi­p’

AS ONE of the consortium of five Filipino and four European institutio­ns that compose t he “Capacitybu­i l ding f or Legal and Social Advancemen­t in the Philippine­s“or CALESA Consorti um under t he Erasmus+ Capacity Building High Education Project ( 609668- EPP- 1- 2019- 1ES- EPPKA2- CBHE- JP [ 2019 – 2012/ 001 – 001]) of the European Union, the University of San Agustin is hosting the Seminar on Global History and the Constructi­on of Global Citizenshi­p this 1820 to 23-26 May 2022 at the Hotel Sta. Monica, University of San Agustin, Iloilo City.

Among the dignitarie­s who are gracing the event is the Coordinato­r of the CALESA Project, Dr. Jose Manuel de Torres Perea, of the Facultad de Derecho, Universida­d de Malaga, Spain.

This CALESA seminar is the first internatio­nal event that the University is holding after the hiatus brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. The seminar covers a wide range of topics about global citizenshi­p constructi­on and global history.
