And now the end is near…

-

THE FINAL death throe of the 54- year- old communist insurgency is inevitable, hence, “and now the end is near”. Let’s check out the facts why.

It’s best to start with the good news. The demi- god, the founder of the Communist Party of the Philippines ( CPP), the man who started all this ego-tripping nonsense, Joma Sison, died last December 16, 2022 in exile in the Netherlands.

There were unconfirmed reports that Joma Sison succumbed to COVID-19 which was not surprising considering the fact that his corpse was cremated and he had been very exposed while enjoying the good life partying like Austin Powers.

Right now t his s o- called communist insurgency is running around like a headless chicken – as literary without Joma Sison they’re headless. Luis Jalandoni, the other top CPP/NPA/NDF honcho also in exile in Europe, is a septuagenarian. He’s a sick old man more concerned with his bladder control, adult diapers and maintenance pills than running around as a revolutionary.

Meanwhile, Concha Araneta Bocala is nowhere to be found and eerily silent. Reports say she’s on the run, moving from one hiding place to another in Panay. She is also a septuagenarian and she is in very poor health. She’s probably more concerned with staying alive than pretending to be a “fierce revolutionary”.

Of course, Marco Valbuena, the so- called information officer of the CPP/NPA/NDF, is just a name conjured out of thin air by the Left. He is not a real person, a figment of their imagination like “red tagging”.

Just recently, a top leader of the CPP/NPA/NDF, Eric Jun Casilao, was arrested in Malaysia. Casilao is the secretary of the Southern Mindanao Regional Committee and Central Committee member of the CPP/NPA/ NDF and has a P5.4-million bounty on his head.

According to the AFP, this arrest seals the collapse of the communist insurgency in the Davao Region.

Moving on, the government now considers the CPP and its armed wing, the New People’s Army (NPA), as a dying threat that will finally end in the next two years under the Marcos administration.

With the confirmed death of top communist leaders Benito and Wilma Tiamzon in August 2022 and Jose Maria Sison in December 2022, as well as the recent arrest of Eric Casilao in Malaysia, the National Security Council (NSC) believes that total victory against the insurgency is at hand.

With the CPP-NPA allegedly now at its weakest, the government is rejecting any idea of reviving the peace talks and is instead pushing for an amnesty law that will give remaining communist fighters and supporters more reasons to lay down their arms and live peaceful lives.

As expected, the CPP/NPA/NDF milked the death of the Tiamzon couple for whatever propaganda value they can get out of it with a preposterous yarn which only the “useful idiots” will believe.

And speaking of useful idiots: the CPP/NPA/NDF has lost control of their top urban operating base and source of recruits to serve as “cannon fodder” – the University of the Philippines in Diliman. Fidel Nemenzo was not selected by the UP Board of Regents; instead they appointed UP College of Law Professor Edgardo Vistan as UP Diliman Chancellor.

Incident ally, the current University of the Philippines president is lawyer Angelo Jimenez, a moderate who’s not fond of wearing “red knickers”.

And just in: Vice President Sara Duterte is now Co-Vice Chairperson of the NTF-ELCAC. Need I say more?

Indeed, the end is near for this 54-year-old obsolete and irrelevant communist insurgency./
