No visa required to go to Taiwan

THE TAIWAN TOURISM BUREAU recently brought to the Philippine­s for the first time its annual travel expo billed “Taiwan Touch Your Heart.”

Besides showcasing the many attraction­s of Taiwan, the two-day fair also announced that traveling to Taiwan is now easier as there is no longer a visa requiremen­t for visiting tourists.

Filipinos with visas to the USA, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Japan or the European Union can now visit Taiwan without a visa.

The “Taiwan Touch Your Heart” Taiwan travel expo has also visited Indonesia, Brunei, Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia. Staged in Manila by ThemeWorks Events for the Taiwan
