Another major US production to shoot here

- By the Entertainment Staff

AFTER the Hollywood movie “The Bourne Legacy,” another major production will shoot in the Philippines. A highly placed source told Rushes that the big-budget US production will set up camp in a pristine beach hideaway

in the province.

Freudian slip

Handsome Hunk was understandably upset that a “poser” had used his photo in a gay dating website. HH was livid, but his reaction made matters worse. He threatened to “slap” the impostor. That’s right, slap, not slug. Remember the closet case who adamantly protested: “I’m not gay. Hello!”

Moonlighting

Reality Hunk should’ve won in the show he joined because he really knew how to overcome the most difficult situations.

Although RH seldom gets assignments from his network, he manages to live it up. His secret? He reportedly moonlights as a rent boy. Online reports say he surreptitiously hands out calling cards to rich gays and other potential clients.

Ironically, RH professes to be a fundamentalist in public. As the late Stella Strada is said to have written in her suicide note: “It’s a crazy planets.”

Monroe in Cannes

NEW York—legend Marilyn Monroe has been selected as poster girl for the 2012 Cannes film festival in May, festival organizers said.

A poster for the fest, which marks its 65th anniversary this year, features a black-and-white photo of Monroe.

New ‘Dancing’ cast

NEW York—television ballroom contest “Dancing With the Stars” unveiled its new cast, including tennis champ Martina Navratilova, several TV actors, an opera singer and Gladys Knight without her “Pips.”

“Dancing With the Stars” is among the top-rated US shows with a formula that pairs B-list celebrities, sports stars and singers with professional dancers.

Apart from Navratilova and Knight, also in the cast are Melissa Gilbert, Welsh mezzo soprano Katherine Jenkins and pop singer Gavin Degraw, football player Donald Driver, Disney channel actor Roshon Fegan, Telemundo hunk William Levy, TV hosts Maria Menounos and Sherri Shepherd and soap star Jack Wagner.

Trial witness

CHICAGO—OSCAR winner Jennifer Hudson is on the witness list for the coming Chicago trial of the man accused of killing her mother, brother and 7-year-old nephew in 2008. But prosecutors haven’t yet disclosed whether Hudson will testify at the April 9 trial of William Balfour, estranged husband of Hudson’s sister, Julia.

Silent Dion

LOS Angeles—grammy-winning singer Celine Dion announced she had canceled a string of shows in Las Vegas due to a virus-triggered problem with her vocal chords. The Canadian-born star was due to sing at Caesars Palace until March 18. “I tried to sing at my sound check last week, but I had no control of my voice whatsoever,” she said.

Short stay

NEW YORK—ACTOR James Spader’s stay at “The Office” will be short. NBC said that Spader, who played oddball boss Robert California in several episodes, won’t be back next year. NBC sought his star power to make up for the absence of Steve Carell who left last year.

Sean Young nabbed

LOS ANGELES—ACTRESS Sean Young was arrested after a scuffle with a security guard at a postOscars party, police said. Young, 52, was placed under citizen’s arrest at the Governors Ball after the dispute, police said. “She was trying to get into the party and couldn’t.”

The actress was taken into custody quickly, said Tom Januszewski, an Associated Press business executive who witnessed the incident. He said he saw a guard subdue Young, while other guards placed her in handcuffs. The actress tried to crash the Vanity Fair Oscar party in 2006. She entered rehabilitation for alcohol abuse in 2008 after she was removed from the Directors Guild of America awards.
