A victory by Global in the 2 p.m. clash can extend its lead at the top to five points ahead of second-running Loyola Meralco with eight matches remaining in its schedule.

But Global can’t expect any fa- vors especially against a Pasargad side oozing confidence following back-to-back victories, including a 4-3 stunning of the Sparks last Wednesday night.

“The win against Loyola will hopefully give us the momentum in our remaining matches,” said Pasargad coach Joey Villarino.
