Coca-cola PH sweeps UA&P Tambuli Awards
COCA-COLA Philippines took home a total of six Marketing awards at the University of Asia and the Pacific (UAP) 2012 Tambuli Awards. The UAP Tambuli Awards are the only global awards that celebrate Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) effectiveness in the promotion of societal values. Since 2007, Coca-Cola has won a total 19 awards in various categories. Now in its 6th year, the UAP Tambuli Awards continues to recognize that advertising and marketing campaigns are not only about creative execution, but also about business results and delivering compelling, positive messages about the values these works communicate to their audiences. Coca-Cola earned a record number of awards in one year led by its innovative approach to integrated marketing. The Live Positively corporate social responsibility campaign won two awards - a Bronze for Best Insights and Strategic Thinking, and a Silver for Best Advocacy Campaign. The moving "OFW Project" garnered three awards - a Silver for Best in Creative Idea and Execution, and two Golds for Best Family-Oriented Brand Campaign and Best Established Brand Campaign. The Coca-Cola Music campaign also received a Gold for Best Teens Brand Campaign. In 2012, the Coca-Cola Philippines Marketing team has been busy topping its already impressive achievements by leveraging the Company's 100th anniversary in the Philippines. The 100th anniversary marketing campaign began earlier this year with a series of innovative outdoor billboards made of crown bottle tops.
