By doing so, Lozada “gave unwarrant- THE HEAD of Thailand’s armed forces arrived in the Philippines yesterday for a high-level visit aimed at improving military ties between the two countries.
Gen. Jessie Dellosa, Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) chief of staff, welcomed Gen. Tanasak Patimapragorn, Chief of Defense Force (CDF) of the Royal Thai Armed Forces (RTARF), and his high-level delegation to AFP headquarters in Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City.
Patimapragorn’s visit comes a month after Maj. Gen. Lere Anan Timur, Timor Leste’s military chief, visited the country to meet with top Philippines security officials.
“The high level visits that we undertake aimed at renewing and strengthening bilateral ties with our neighbors is a simple gesture of our commitment towards regional peace and security,” Dellosa said.
Patimapragorn emphasized the close ties between the Thai and Philippine militaries.
“The Philippine military and the Royal Thai Defense Force are more than just friends, we are more like cousins in the Asean community,” Patimapragorn said.
