Hi-tech endodontics seminar

THE ENDODONTIC Society of the Philippines (ESP) will hold its first quarterly seminar on Oct. 8 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Unilab Bayanihan Hall on Pioneer Street in Pasig City. The topic for the seminar is Hi Tech Endodontics.

The main speaker is Dr. Jeeraphat Jantarat, assistant professor at Mahidol University in Bangkok. Lecture 1 is on how technology can improve endodontics success and Lecture 2 focuses on management of perforation and broken endodontic.

Dr. Jantarat received her degree in endodontics, and doctorate in dental science from the University of Melbourne. In 2002, she received the Young Educator Award from the faculty of dentistry of Mahidol University, where she is currently the head of the endodontics division of the department of operative dentistry and endodontics. She became a diplomate of the Thai Board of Endodontics in 2007.

Dr. Jantarat has lectured extensively in her home country and in international events in Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia and other Southeast Asian countries. She is also involved in many research projects and serves a reviewer for national and international journals.
