Woobie finishes Run for Pasig

-

WOOBIE, the World Bazaar Festival's symbolic mascot crossed the finish line at the Run for Ilog Pasig recently. Finishing at 3 hours, 3 minutes and 3 seconds, Woobie broke the record for the first mascot to finish the marathon for a cause this year. Since 2000, Worldbex Services International (WSI), the country's biggest trade show organizer, puts together the World Bazaar Festival in partnership with ABS CBN, for the benefit of the ABS CBN Foundation Inc.(AFI). Together with Woobie and other Kapamilya stars, the 12th World Bazaar Festival will once again open its doors on Dec. 7-23 at the World Trade Center.

As the country's biggest trade show and expo organizer, WSI continues to create events that center on the concept of giving back to society. Through the 12th World Bazaar Festival's Woobie, the spirit of Christmas is always present as he reaches out to less fortunate kids and highlights the essence of charity wherever he may be.

The event promises to entertain more than 230,000 shoppers by giving them more than 700 booth stalls to shop from with endless activities on stage by different Kapamilya stars and its sponsors.

Shopping for a cause has never been more exciting with brands like Rustans, Havaianas, Adidas, Fila, CMG, Triumph, Goody, Samsonite, Enfant, Play and Display and more joining the biggest and longest bazaar of the year.

From marathons to endless shopping fun, giving back this season in whatever form makes corporate social responsibility all the more rewarding.
