Huawei launches the beauty and brains of smartphones
HUAWEI, a leading global information and communications technology solutions provider, recently launched three ingenious Android smartphones—the Ascend P1, Ascend P1 LTE, and Ascend D1 LTE—throwing itself into the already crowded smartphones market.
Maintaining to provide customers real brand or product differentiation, Huawei boasts that its smartphones are products of its 20 years of wireless network experience and understanding.
Johnson Ma, country manager of Huawei Device Philippines, said that that they are able to optimize the network search algorithm for Ascend and base station auto-search technology, thus allowing Huawei to have faster signal detection and longer battery life.
“Perhaps you have noticed that in some places, the network signal is not very stable. Your phone becomes very hot and loses battery power very quickly,” he explained. He added that this is because the phone was tracking and comparing a false signal which was why it was so unstable and it also used up a lot of battery.
These benefits, together with beauty, power, ingenuity and speed that Huawei promises to exude in their smart phone lineup, are strong signals of Huawei’s commitment to offer true benefits to the Filipino smartphone users, he said.
Beauty meets brains
The Ascend P1 is beauty meets brains, just proof that technology and good looks can go hand-in-hand. It features a dual-core 1.5GHz TI OMAP 4460 Cortext-A9 processor and measures 7.69mm thin and 64.8 mmlong, providing a very comfortable grip.
With a 4.3-inch super AMOLED 960 x 540 touch screen with Corning Gorilla Glass, an 8-megapixel BSI rear-facing camera and Dolby Mobile 3.0 + 5.1 surround sound technology, the Ascend P1 provides a home theater experience in the palm of your hands.
Huawei is also putting LTE technology into the hands of more people globally and locally by offering Ascend D1 LTE and Ascend P1 LTE.
The Ascend D1 LTE and Ascend P1 LTE promise ultra-fast mobile communication with its 1.5GHz dualcore processor power and the fastest data networks available through its LTE support. These Huawei Ascend LTE Android smartphones enable faster downloads at a data transmission rate of up to 100 mbps that far outperforms HSDPA. Its ultra-low latency guarantees smooth video calls and online games.
The Ascend D1 LTE and Ascend P1 LTE, which run with the Android ice cream sand- wich operating system, are also entertainment dynamos with pace to burn. They also are built to last, with Corning Gorilla Glass display presenting brilliant visuals on generous screen.
Ma said: “LTE is the future of mobile communications and faster data networks will become a key area of differentiation for consumers when choosing their mobile devices. Huawei is committed to LTE innovation throughout the entire communications infrastructure from the ground to the cloud.”
Since initiating LTE R&D efforts in 2004, Huawei has been a global leader in the development of LTE technology and has led the way in commercial LTE rollouts. Through the Ascend LTE handset, Huawei Device is helping network operators not only here in the Philippines but also in other parts of the world to develop and expand their LTE user base. The Ascend P1, Ascend P1 LTE, and Ascend D1 LTE are now available in the Philippine market.
