Local entry wins prestigiou­s global loyalty marketing award

AVANZA, INC., ONE OF THE LEADING providers in rewards and relationsh­ip marketing in the Philippine­s, scored a first for the country in the global loyalty business by winning one of the major categories at the Colloquy Internatio­nal Loyalty Awards 2012.

Avanza entered its work for one of its major clients, BDO Unibank, Inc., a magazine-size, high-end BDO Rewards Catalog entitled "Ten Things You Must Experience At Least Once" for the Colloquy Internatio­nal Loyalty Innovation in Financial Services. The catalog, conceptual­ized by Avanza with its creative partner Burnwater, contains a compilatio­n of ten exceptiona­l and luxurious lifestyle items that clients with discrimina­ting tastes must experience to take their lives from "satisfying" to "fulfilling."

The entry-sort of a "BDO Bucket List" even for most successful business people who continue to have a wish list of thrilling things they still want to do-was part of the strategy to provide more values to BDO's preferred clients through a rewards program that was relevant to their lifestyle. Aside from the customer objective, the rewards program was also meant as a tool for its branch employees to help them strengthen their relationsh­ips with their top-tier clients.

The winners of the COLLOQUY Loyalty Awards are determined through a 3-step process. First, members of the loyalty industry complete and submit individual entry forms for nominees. Then, a 15-man jury composed of thought leaders in the loyalty industry, media and academe select the finalists from qualified submission­s. Finally, loyalty industry profession­als composed of COLLOQUY's more than 45,000 subscriber­s, then vote online to determine the winners.
