NCAA volley finals: Lady Stags take Game 1

SAN Sebastian tripped defending champion Pepetual Help,26-24, 2624, 22-25, 27-25, to move within a win of the crown in the NCAA women’s volleyball finals last night at Filoil Flying V Arena.

Gretchel Soltones fired 16 points and Ara Mallare scored half of her 12 points on service aces to lead the Lady Stags in Game 1 of the bestof-three series.
