‘Bullang Bullang’ fires off Monday

THE 2013 Bullang Bullang National 9-Bullstag Derby will have national eliminations on Monday at Pasig Square Garden and Thursday at Roligon Mega Cockpit.

In the Visayas, members of Panay Gamefowl Breeders Association (Pagba) will have their eliminations on Feb. 11 and 13 at Iloilo Coliseum. “Bullang Bullang” will have its grand finals on Feb. 25 at Roligon.

Meanwhile, straight bullstags will be allowed in the following venues: Bacolor Cockpit (Feb. 11); Malvar Cockpit (Feb. 13); Marilao Coliseum (Feb. 14); Jaycee Sports Complex, New Tarlac Coliseum and Alixandra Complex (Feb. 15); Batac Coliseum and Galleria de Legazpi (Feb. 16); New Alkor Galleria (Feb. 17).

To date, “Bullang Bullang” has attracted more than 800 entries.

Derby sponsors are Thunderbird and B-Meg Derby Ace, together with Supremo Feeds, Salto Feeds, Lakpue Drug Inc., Excellence Poultry and Livestock Specialists, VNJ Distributors and Resorts World Manila.
