CHARTERING OF NEWS OR OPTIMIST CLUB

SOROPTIMIST International of Sta. Maria (SI-Sta. Maria) with its president for year 20122014, Milagros C. Nieto, chartered a new club last Jan. 12 at the Senior Citizen Building, Sta. Maria, Bulacan. The New Chartered Club, Soroptimist International of Karilagan ng Sta. Maria is composed of 20 young, vibrant and dynamic women in business and professionals. Installation of officers and induction of members was conducted by no other than the Soroptimist International of the Philippines Region (SIPR) governor Minda A. Garcia with a Hawaiian inspired motif worn by the new members and officers. The occasion was graced and witnessed by the officers and staff of SIPR. The president of SI-Karilagan is Jennifer R. Evangelista, daughter of Sta. Maria Mayor Omeng and Mrs. Rhia Ramos.
