Mwcpilots advanced water pressure system

EAST Zone concessionaire Manila Water recently piloted the i20 system, the world’s most advanced pump control system, in its facility in Quezon City. The Ayala-led company is the first to use the pressure management solution in Asia to optimize the management of its water network.

The technology is expected to improve the efficiency of its N. Domingo pump station for the benefit of its customers in the New Manila area. It will ensure that water pressure will not drop beyond the required minimum pressure even at critical points in the distribution.

Equipped with an algorithm-generated pump operation schemes, the i20 system enables exact pressure distribution. Because of this, the technology was able to decrease leakages by moderating unwanted pressure and in effect, contributed in lowering down the level of its system loss.
