SKYcable upgrades for signal clarity
SKYCABLE recently conducted a system upgrade to enhance signal clarity for Channels 12 (GMA 7), 13 (Shop TV), 21 (Sky Preview Channel) and 163 (ABN).
The process involved transferring the four channels to better streams. These streams may not be immediately detected by certain digital box models when channel numbers are keyed in on the remote controls. For troubleshooting tips, subscribers may visit SKYcable’s website about manually scanning the Sky Digibox.
In the meantime, says Alan Supnet, head of marketing, the four channels may be located using the remote control’s channel keys. GMA 7 has been temporarily moved to Channel 99.

Meanwhile, SKY is urging Mega Manila subscribers to go digital for efficiency and clarity.
Supnet notes that the company’s digitization efforts paved the way to more vibrancy and a host of features to enhance cable viewing.
These features include show schedules for the next seven days, a program to restrict children from accessing channels with inappropriate content, and a subscription package tailor-fitted to individual or family viewing preferences and budget.
