DCOM Summit starts today

EXPERTS and thought leaders in digital commerce industry converge today at the Hotel Interconti­nental, Makati City for the Digital Commerce Associatio­n of the Philippine­s (DCOM) Summit with the theme "Overdrive: E-Commerce Shifts Into High Gear."

Speakers from successful online businesses will share their secrets and strategies in making it big while the experts will discuss industry trends and the landscape of ecommerce in the country. Start-ups will also have a chance to pitch their business ideas to large companies, investors, and incubators.

Topics include "The State of Customer Service in E-Commerce (Tools and Best Practices)," "Managing and Mitigating Fraud in Online Business," "The Evolution of Deal Sites in the Philippine­s," "Mobile Commerce Today and Tomorrow," and "Social Media and E-Commerce: Myth or Reality?" among others.

Kimstore's founder Kim Labo, Ayala Land Inc.'s marketing manager Menchu Viduya-Dizon, Cashcashpi­noy.com's chief executive officer Frederic Levy, and Muliply's country manager Jack Madrid are just few of the speakers for the two-day summit.

DCOM is a private nonstock, non-profit organizati­on, founded by key players in the Philippine ecommerce industry.
