Scientist talks about adult stem cells
ADULT stem cells have created a buzz across the globe, as advanced research posed new and phenomenal possibilities in health and healing.
Dr. Christian Drapeau, the scientist who advanced the research and application of stem cells, will talk on March 11, 3 p.m., at Astoria Plaza Hotel, Ortigas Center, Pasig City.
As chief science officer of Stemtech International Inc., pioneer and world leader in stem-cell nutrition, Drapeau will be in Manila to speak on achieving optimum health and wellness through adult stem cells.
He will also talk about Stem Enhance, the world’s first all-natural supplement documented to support the body’s natural ability to produce and release adult stem cells.
Drapeau explains that adult stem cells are the body’s innate healing and renewal system. They are build- ing blocks created by the bone marrow. When a tissue or organ is damaged, diseased or stressed, it sends out a chemical that calls for help, traveling through the bloodstream to the bone marrow.
The bone marrow then releases adult stem cells which travel back through the bloodstream to the tissue or organ in need, where they morph into healthy cells of the damaged tissue or organ. These new healthy cells multiply as they repair and renew the damaged or diseased area.
There appear to be few limitations on the ability of adult stem cells to transform into healthy cells of the brain, liver, heart, kidney and skin. As such, with adult stem cells, there is a real possibility that heart disease, diabetes, liver degeneration and other medical conditions could become a thing of the past.
Drapeau has been continuously working on methods to enhance adult stem-cell production and delivery. In his talk, he will present the latest developments in adult stemcell science and how they can greatly improve people’s health and lives.
