DILIMAN Preparatory School and the Department of Health formalized a partnership through a MOA signing last Feb. 21 at the DOH office in Manila between former Senator Nikki Coseteng, president and CEO of DPS, and Dr. Enrique T. Ona, DOH Secretary. This is the first formal public-private partnership between and educational institution and the DOH that will pilot the implementation of the guide- lines and standards of the World Health Organization's (WHO) Healthy School Program as a learning institution. DPS is a 44 year old learning institution that prides itself in giving its students an education based on strong academic foundation with real world perspective and who values the importance of living a healthy lifestyle as delivered through its Whole -Brain Learning System (WBLS).
