Club Mwah is 10

-

THE FABULOUS, playful Follies de Mwah is back at its home, Club Mwah in Mandaluyong, with the 12th edition of the house troupe production, “Bedazzled,” which goes onstage Thursdays through Saturdays.

Meanwhile, Follies creative director Cris Nicolas and Mwah president Pocholo Malillin are in the thick of preparations for a 10th anniversary show in August—and a big production in Abu Dhabi later this year.

Malillin said the Abu Dhabi producers broached the idea to them during the Follies series at the Resorts World Hotel late last year. He and Nicolas recently visited the Dubai capital for a look-see of the venue.

“Right now we’re training more female performers,” said Malillin. Follies is a mixed company of girls, guys and gays.

Club Mwah is at Venue Tower, 652 Boni Avenue. Call 535-7943 or 532-2826.
