Tax exemptions, preferential treatments seminar to be held May 9-10

-

MOST TAXPAYERS do not know that they can save on their income, value added, estate and donors and documentary stamp taxes by taking advantage of tax-exempt transactions and preferential tax treatments.

To help individuals, business organizations, nongovernment organizations, schools and other types of organizations, the Center for Global Best Practices will hold a pioneering seminar on “Taxpayers’ Complete Guide to Tax-Exempt Transactions and Preferential Tax Treatments” on May 9-10 at The Peninsula Manila, Makati City.

The seminar will share unheard-of provisions, pertinent tax regulations and special laws on tax-exempt transactions.

It is accredited with the Supreme Court for the Mandatory Continuing Legal Education.

Certified public accountant Danilo A. Duncano, an expert tax practitioner and author of 23 taxation books, will discuss best-kept secrets of tax experts and how to benefit from tax-exempt transactions and preferential tax treatments.

He will also discuss comprehensively all applicable laws and Bureau of Internal Revenue issuances that are still in effect and useful for taxpayers who want to save on tax payments legally.

Duncano has over 38 years of experience as a tax practitioner both in the private and public sectors. He is currently a Bureau of Internal Revenue director. He will also lecture on “Optimizing Tax Savings on Real Estate Transactions” on Sept. 5-6.

Participants will get resource kits, snacks, lunch and a certificate of attendance. This is a limited-seats-only program and preregistration is required.
