Registry of Filipino language groups launched

-

THE KOMISYON sa Wikang Filipino (KWK) is launching a registry program that will link together various groups for a broader network and linkages even at the grassroots level. Documents for enrollment should be submitted on or before May 10. The KWK is inviting all agencies, Filipino academic departments, organizations and language centers that promote efficient implementation and development of the Filipino language to enroll in the registry.

The registry program aims to give support and recognition to groups sharing the ideals of the commission and to synchronize research on the language and its cultural implications by developing a database to avoid duplication.

It also hopes to harmonize all language-related projects to address effectively and provide solutions to issues related to the Filipino language.

Interested groups are requested to provide a status report (inclusive of the kind and nature of the organization, its officers and members, office address, a copy of bylaws and Securities and Exchange Commission registration) and a list of its programs and projects to: Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino Sangay ng Impormasyon at Publikasyon 2F Watson Bldg., 1610 J.P.
