2013 CEO Excel Awards Night on July 25

The International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Philippines will honor top business and organizational leaders at the 2013 CEO EXCEL Awards Night on July 25 at Grand Ballroom, Intercontinental Manila, Makati City.

The awardees will be conferred the honor for using excellent communication in achieving their business objectives. They are exemplars of responsible corporate citizenship and good governance, inspiring others and serving the greater good.

The award recognizes top Philippine-based leaders who masterfully and effectively championed the use of excellent communication as a business strategy to help achieve organization targets, establish collegiality and esprit de corps among internal audiences, build relationships of trust, resolve crisis and uphold the organization's reputation among its various stakeholders.

The CEO EXCEL is the highest individual award of communication excellence given by IABC Philippines.

Attending are top-level executives of private, government and NGO organizations, IABC Board of Trustees headed by its Chairman Elpi O. Cuna, CEO EXCEL Committee headed by Philippine Business Center Executive Director Chit G. Arce, Greenbulb PR Agency Managing Director Leah C. Caringal, MERALCO External Communications Head Joe Zaldarriaga, IABC members and communication professionals from major corporations, media, manufacturing, energy, foundations and other industries.

"Each year, since 2005, the circle of these communication leaders and exemplars has been growing. They encourage us all to further the use of ethical and competent communication as an inseparable part of business strategy and people management," Cuna said.

"All nominations are judged against Award criteria following the required communication outline of specific programs and activities the nominee has led within 2012," IABC Philippines president, Ritzi Ronquillo stressed. "Truly this year's awardees epitomize the best of the best in communication excellence and management and IABC is proud to confer this honor to them," concluded Ronquillo.
