Healthway, Cebu Pac embark on employee health care initiative
CEBU Pacific has renewed its partnership with Healthway Medical, extending the healthcare provider’s contract until 2016.
Healthway Medical has been providing the airline with clinic management for the past years. With the continuation of the partnership, the healthcare service provider will be supplying more nurses to the airline’s clinics, administering pre-employment exams and annual physical exams, and its premium brand of executive check-ups called HealthCheQ. These services are being taken in line with Cebu Pacific’s goal of improving and expanding the health benefits the company extends to its affiliates and employees.
In line with this, the airline is set to launch a brand new healthcare facility for its Manilabased employees. Approximately 100 square meters, the facility will be launched within the third quarter of 2013. It will include breastfeeding rooms, a specimen collection area, and a playroom for employees’ children and will serve as the headquarters of a Healthway Medical team of specialists and nurses providing premium services to the company’s Manila-based employees.
The contract renewal was a pleasantly anticipated engagement by the officials and employees of the airline. “We know that their services are well appreciated by our employees,” says Cebu Pacific manager Maureen Caceres, “as we have received really good feedback.”
