TTC awarded int’l recognition for employee training excellence

THE TRAVEL Club (TTC) in partnership with the Academy for Professional Excellence (APEX) was most recently awarded by the Federation of Asia-Pacific Retailers Association (FAPRA) for its exemplary and pioneering contribution in sustaining excellent retail practices through manpower training and continued education.

The event was held in conjunction with the Asia Pacific Retailers Conference and Expo (APRCE) last Sept. 23 to 26, in Istanbul, Turkey. The Travel Club’s pioneering effort to establish a training program for their sales force provided these select employees the opportunity to undergo and finish a specialized and intensive training module that aims to upgrade their sales, customer service skills and product knowledge thus giving them better opportunity to grow professionally.

APEX aims to raise the bar toward Retail Excellence by providing education and jobspecific training programs in retail, tourism and other service industries. The academy carefully designed and expertly crafted various modules to be accomplished by student-employees during the course of their short program and training.

With this latest recognition The Travel Club’s Best Employee Training Program Award from FAPRA (formally, Best Effort in Retail Employee Training) becomes a solid testament of their excellent and globally recognized training and skills enrichment program for world-class retail professionals.
