Shell powers emerging Philippine auto leader Hyundai
PILIPINAS Shell Petroleum Corp. and Hyundai Asia Resources Inc. ( Hari) recently sealed an exclusive agreement tapping Shell to supply Hyundai Genuine Motor Oils Semi- Synthetic and Mineral oil variants at all Hyundai dealerships nationwide.
Hyundai— one of Shell’s global key accounts for commercial lubricants— was established in 2001 with only four dealerships carrying a single product line.
Today, Hari boasts of a nationwide network of 41 dealerships and a strong portfolio of innovative vehicle offerings, all of which have propelled it to become the third top- ranking automotive brand in the Philippines.
Shell, as a global leader in power, energy and gas technology, shares Hyundai’s pacesetting passion to de- velop innovative mobility solutions while addressing present- day environmental concerns.
