JAPANESE LIFESTYLE brand Muji opened the doors of its sixth store at Level 4 of the Shangri-La Plaza EastWing in Mandaluyong City.
The store has a unique, eco-friendly design to highlight Muji’s constant efforts to care for the environment.
The new branch spans a 465square-meter floor area filled with regular bestsellers such as compact PET bottles, sturdy PP boxes, travel neck cushions, heavenly feather pillows and assorted stationery items.
Muji Shangri- La also carries a new batch of arrivals from the Spring- Summer 2013 collection of home fabrics and men’s and ladies’ garments made of light cotton and linen materials.
Muji’s roster of functional lifestyle items is a line of products from streamlined processes with zero to minimal waste to practice Muji’s philosophy in active environment conservation.

polypropylene plastic and recently sourced materials like the natural dye from Cambodia and organic cotton from Egypt, India and Tanzania.
With the unveiling of Muji Shangri-La’s new store design clad in recycled wood, Muji emphasizes the numerous possibilities of reusing and recycling materials and reducing overall waste in the long run.
