Mark Herras

George Clooney. Ynna’s hurting

Ynna Asistio,

Mark’s ex-girlfriend, sent me a text message expressing her sentiments. “Unfortunately, I found out only last Feb. 14. I had no idea po. I’m hurting, but there’s nothing I can do. I wish Mark well and I hope he takes good care of his baby. I am still in shock. I can’t believe my family and I were the last to know. I hope Mark is happy now and at peace. Di po madaling tanggapin, but I don’t have any anger in my IN YESTERDAY’S column, I wrote a blind item about a young actor having a love child. I submitted that piece last Saturday.

The very next day, the cat was let out of the bag.

GMA 7 actor admitted on national TV (“Startalk”) that he had a 3-month-old baby girl, Ada. According tomy source, the baby’s mother is Mark’s road manager (though I’m not sure if she still works with him).

I salute Mark for being man enough to own up to that. I fondly call Mark “Georgie” because he looks like a younger version of

I often tease him that maybe their resemblance doesn’t stop there because, just like George, he may choose to be a bachelor-atlarge forever.

Now that he has a baby, Mark vows to kiss his happy-go-lucky and mischievous days goodbye. Ada has tamed the “naughty boy” in him. Women may come and go in his life but Ada will be the only girl he will love for keeps. heart. It’s more pain. With God’s grace, I know I’ll be fine. Thank you sa lahat ng nagme- message. Mas nagiging strong ako every time nakikita ko messages ng mga tao. I lift everything to God alam ko may purpose lahat ng mga nangyayari and I will take it positively.”

Aiza’s love journey

Aiza Seguerra

Liza Diño.

Love has made an even better singer. Her heart has come full circle now that she’s all set to take the plunge with her girlfriend,

Imbibe that loving feeling in Aiza’s concert, “Journey of Love,” at Newport Performing Arts Theater in ResortsWorld Manila on March 1 at 8 p.m. (For tickets, call 891-9999 and 0918-5633781.)

Her song for Liza is “Araw Gabi” and Liza’s song for her is “How Did You Know?”

As for the most important lesson she picked up along the way, Aiza says it’s that in life, and love, we must be brave. Brave to stand up after we fall and brave enough to fight for the people and things we love.

Spoken like a true warrior of love whose journey has led to its final destination.

Ilonggo buddy

I immensely enjoyed watching the PBA finals Big Dome.

It brought back fond memo days as a cager’s wife. At pres Mig Coffee Mixers, the team I for, leads with three wins ver Shinewith two.

Hopefully, San Mig Coffee clinch the championship tonig

I am delighted that I hav newfound Ilonggo buddy

We hit it off instan ly when I interviewed him o the phone because I speak Hil gaynon fluently.

He was surprised to lear that I’m not Ilonggo by birth yet I converse as if Ilonggo was my native tongue. Since then, we’ve been enjoying texting in Ilonggo about funny and off-the-record stuff.

James is so down-toearth, he makes me forget that he’s a PBA superstar.

We have the same choice of poison: vodka. I ribbed him to hurry and bag the championship already so we could celebrate and vodkanize He agreed and said he had been thirsty.

Our running joke is that should keep his eyes on the and on the Double V goal: Vic and Vodka!

Magdaog na ta karong ga bala, James kay gahulat na vodka. Cheers to all the cool th James is, on and off the court!

James Yap.
