Backyard Grill At The Park goes to QC
THERE is something about the balmy wind of summer that immediately urges one to create a lasting memory filled with fun and excitement. While some opt to escape from the metro, there are those who choose to stay and bask in the warmth of the season with the company of family, close friends and neighbors.
Hinge INQUIRER Publications (HIP), a member of the INQUIRER Group of Companies and the publisher of the country’s most popular free magazines, connects with the community through one of its signature events, Backyard Grill At The Park. Launched last year, this event has become synonymous not only with good food and great entertainment, but it has also been known as a fun and gracious way of giving back.
“Instead of asking for a premium for being part of this event, we make all concessionaires donate 30% of their profits to a charity of their choice,” says Bea Ledesma, group publisher for HIP. “HIP is the pioneer of this kind of event and we take pride that people are always ready to join us in our worthy cause.”
After holding neighborhood events in Ayala Alabang and Urdaneta Village, Backyard Grill At The Park heads north to The Gardens at Loyola Grand Villas in Quezon City tomorrow (April 25) at 4:30 p.m.
Apart from the delectable offerings from Scarsdale, Frango’s, Malcolm’s Burgers and Kalookies, there will be activities such as arts and crafts, DIY, and a giant Jenga to keep kids and kids at heart entertained. Music courtesy of indie pop duo Reese and Vica will put attendees in a summer mood.
Backyard Grill at The Park has helped a number of charitable institutions like White Cross Orphanage, Museo Pambata Foundation Inc., Futkal and Move.Org. Backyard Grill At The Park is brought to you by HIPEvents, and is made possible by Crate & Barrel, Robinson’s Land Corporation, INQUIRER Group of Companies and Hinge INQUIRER Publications.
