are happy Why students to join this organization

- By Carlos Miguel De Guzman Student correspondent San Beda Alabang

ELEVATE is a nationwide organization of Christ Commission Fellowship (CCF). It focuses mostly on the youth, students and teachers.

Elevate is a virtual home where everyone cares, contributes, helps out and belongs.

The organization reaches out to people and is not just a worship service, it is like a family, as well as lending a hand to people who are in need.

Here are some testimonials of some members to share some of their thoughts.

There are no strict requirements because everyone is welcome regardless of religious affiliation.

No one has to be perfect, cool or famous to be in Elevate. Everyone is kind here, no one has to feel awkward because everyone will welcome you with open arms—just as Jesus would like to.

Once you decide to join Elevate, let us not forget the real purpose why we are going here. Elevate is a place to worship, praise, and thank God, get to know more about Him, and also to meet some new friends.

Testimonies

“I don’t like Elevate… I Love Elevate! It’s because of the homey atmosphere that the people and the place give it. I love Elevate because it’s a place where you don’t have to hide behind your wall of insecurity. It’s where you can be yourself. It’s where I’ve learned so much about God’s love for us. In spite of all our flaws, sinfulness and hopelessness, Jesus still loved us and died for all our sins. I’ve learned the true meaning of love. Genuine love was demonstrated 2,000 years ago on the Cross.” Teej Sosa, 18, University of the Philippines Diliman

“I like Elevate because of the genuine friendships you can make. Everyone is just so welcoming and loving that you can’t help but come back every Saturday.” #GenuineRelationships

“I learned so much more about God, His love for His children and what He wants for us in our lives.”

Patrick Ona, 17,

“I like Elevate because, by the grace of God, it has influenced my life for the better. I learned a lot of new things about God and that we need to love each other like how God loves us and that there is no greater love than our Lord’s.” Veejay Castañeda, 14, San Beda College Alabang

“I like Elevate because it helps me to grow in my relationship with God and know more about Him. I believe that God really used Elevate to seek me and other people who were lost and are now found. I really love Elevate so much because it makes me feel welcome and comfortable. I learned in Elevate how Jesus died to save us. Elevate also helped me to have a solid foundation in my everyday life together with Christ.” Luisse Parado, 16, Las Piñas City National Science High School

“I like Elevate because it was used by God to draw me closer to Him, for my life to be transformed. Awesome worship songs and Kuya Dan’s preaching never fail to touch my heart. I learned how much God loves me through Jesus’ dying on the Cross and that He has better plans for me. He will not leave me nor forsake me.”

Ram Cartney Cortez, 19, Paref Southridge School
