Balibago derby gets under way Friday at PCC
TOP DERBY campaigners collide anew in the Balibago 4-Cock Derby this Friday at Pasay City Cockpit.
Batangas cocker Tony Lasala, who is known for his “Balibago” entry, will host the event which requires an entry fee of only P11,000.
Some 35 entries are expected to see action in the derby backed by Sagupaan Complexor 3000.
Four participants—lawyer Benny Salazar with his entry “Enzo Altavas RC Sept. 18,” Rep. Damian Mercado (Cebu Big Event Nov. 29), Jun Garves (Meric) and engineer Celso Salazar (Tiger Shark)—emerged co-champions in Monday’s Pasay Invitational Big Event 7-Cock Derby, also at PCC.
Meanwhile, the PCC 29th Anniversary 6Cock Derby fires off on July 17 and 20.
