Tough fights seen in LGBA Breeder of Year race today

THE RACE for the Luzon Game-Cock Breeders Association (LGBA) Breeder of the Year title heats up today at Pasay City Cockpit.

Today’s 7-stag derby supported by Sagupaan Complexor 3000 is the second leg in the LGBA series.

Partners Jonjon Cano and Carrie Chua of Cavite, with their entry “Baby Face Citi” paces the top breeder race with 7 points, followed by Vice Mayor Anthony Marasigan, Andy Ong and Robert Torres with 6.5 points each.

Jun Llagas, Pipo Soliman, Arnold dela Cruz, Paolo Malvar, Jimmy Junsay, Sonny Lagon and Arman Santos have 6 points each.

Competition continues with 3 - stag eliminations on Wednesday at San Juan Coliseum and on Sept. 28 at Pasay cockpit. The finals is slated Oct. 5 at PCC.

Meanwhile, PCC’s National Barkadahan Championships 9-stag derby fires off this Friday.
